Cognos TM 1 Developer

Roles and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced IBM TM1 developer who will be responsible for the Design and development of the new applications and enhancing the existing models using IBM Planning Analytics.Candidate will be responsible for the entire SDLC and should have excellent communication skills and experience working directly with the business. He needs to be self-sufficient and comfortable with building internal networks, both with the business and other technology teams.He will be expected to own changes all the way from inception to deployment in production. In addition to implementing new functionality, he needs to use his experience in TDD and best practices to identify process gaps or areas for improvement with a constant focus on scalability and stability.Candidate should be self-motivated, results oriented and able to multi-task across different teams and applications. Further the candidate needs to work effectively with remotely dispersed teams as the role will require constant communication across various regional teams.Required Skills:Minimum 3-8 years of experience in design, modeling, and development of different EPM applications using IBM PA/Cognos TM1Expertise in TI scripting, MDX, Rules & Feeders and Performance Tuning.Expertise on Client Reporting and Dashboard tools like Active forms, PA Web, PAX & PAWExpertise in design and implementation of overall TM1 securityStrong in Mapping business requirements to system design and preparing TDD.Ability to do rapid prototyping in TM1Advanced development and troubleshooting skillsDocumentation of Runbooks and User Training and SupportStrong understanding of SDLC methodologies with a track record of high-quality deliverablesExcellent communication skills and experience working with global teamsDesired Skills:- Working experience in Agile environment- knowledge on Cloud Infrastructure and data source integrations- Knowledge on relational Databases and Cognos Analytics- Self-motivated, be able to work independently as well as being a team player- Strong client service focus and willingness to respond to queries and providedeliverables within prompt timeframes.Qualification:B-Tech/M-Tech/MCA/BSCCA/B-Com PRB
