Purpose of RoleBusiness Analyst is instrumental in enhancing the strategic and operational capabilities of our application stack specifically focusing on Client Document Management System (iManage) utilized by over 3000+ colleagues. This role is designed to work in close collaboration with the Operations Technology Manager/ DMS Domain Lead. In this role you will leverage your expertise to bridge technical solutions and business needs, ensuring our technology initiatives are perfectly aligned with global business objectives and co-create a mutually agreed domain roadmap, enhancing platform efficiency and performance.About the Operations Technology TeamThe Operations Technology team acts as the Operational business owner for key Service Delivery applications across Corporate & Fund Services. Corporate Services domain areas include Entity Management, Document Management Systems (DMS), Client KYC and Screening, Client Regulatory Filings, Client Accounting and Payments and Productivity apps such as Workflow Management. We translate commercial and market business requirements into actionable needs and executable application roadmaps. The team is responsible for executing the Service Delivery application strategy, deploying enhancements, and application implementation.Key Responsibilities:Interpret business needs and translate them into viable application solution proposal, in collaboration with business stakeholders, application and technology Build strong evidence-based business cases to support proposed solutions.Translate user requirements into detailed functional specifications that guide software development and implementation.Document, analyse and assess the impact of business and functional requirements on related processes and systems.Own the creation of user acceptance scenario based on business inputs.Facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure system functionality meets requirements.Able to take a helicopter view and challenge proposal in line with business requirements.Passionate to optimize processes using technology.Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies and propose appropriate solutions.Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights for informed decision-making.Provide end-user support and training, addressing questions and concerns related to system functionality.Manage user maintenance, SQL Database Administration, and create reports using SQL queriesLead disaster recovery planning and tests for the document management system Relevant Experience, Qualification and Skills:The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of various DMS components and be able to optimize system performance, collaborate with teams, and provide support. Strong troubleshooting skills, expertise in relational database technology, and analytical skills are essential for this roleMinimum 4 years of experience in business & functional analyst role.Proven experience with iManage is required.Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices.Knowledge of Atlassian applications Jira and Confluence is a plus.Proactive, resilient, service-minded and possess strong interpersonal skills.Good communicator, quality & customer minded, team player and problem solver.Attention to details.Fluent in English (written and verbal)Motivated and Passionate to learn, share, help and deliverBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related fieldCompany Benefits:At our Vistra GSC office, we believe in putting our employees' well-being first!
