Process Assistant

As a Process Assistant at Melexis, you will support the Process & Equipment Engineering team in the development and optimization of processes and equipment, as well as their maintenance. More precisely, you will:

1. Perform basic operations like machine maintenance and calibration, machine and contactor repair, etc.
2. Perform supporting activities such as machine setup, device testing, and device inspection.
3. Apply work instructions to perform basic activities such as checking, cleaning, and testing devices.
4. Ensure technical support to process specialists and process engineers by:
1. Performing tests according to defined test plans (equipment release, new product validation, change validations, etc.).
2. Reporting issues and executing improvement strategies.
3. Helping with organizational/administrative topics like reporting and updating lists.

1. Diploma in electronic engineering or other applicable industrial engineering.
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong advantage.
3. Ability to execute fine precise handwork.
4. Attitude to take responsibility.
5. Good organizational and communication skills.
6. Very good English level.
