Purchase Officer

We at BUTT PAINTS INDUSTRY are looking to hire a valuable Assistant Purchase Officer in our Purchase Department at our Head Office in Lahore.Qualification:Bachelors / Masters in Supply Chain

· Excellent communication skills & the ability to liaise with external suppliers and parties, and can work in a fast-paced working environment.

Experience:2-3 years of experience (Experience in paint industry or paint chemical field preferred).

Responsibilities:

· Purchase active and inactive raw materials for paints.

· Experience in purchasing packing materials, unit cartons, wrappers, etc.

· Make comparative and purchase orders as per demand.

· Identify, assess, and shortlist suitable vendors for procurement and manage different stakeholders internally and externally.

· Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors.

· Build appropriate cycle forecasts in coordination with the department.

· Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other data.

· Responsible for leading local procurement planning, budgeting, supplier selections, and negotiations activities.

· Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.

· Maintain minimum stock levels.

· Any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Job Type:Full-time

Salary:Rs 35,000.00 - Rs 40,000.00 per month.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Lahore: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required).

Experience:

Purchase: 1 year (Preferred).

Job SpecificationMarket knowledge.

Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role.

Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors).

Hands-on experience with purchasing ERP.
