General Manager for The Dictionary Hostel, ShoreditchPermanent position. £25,000 to £32,000 per year.OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has opened up at The Dictionary Hostel for a General Manager to join our young and dynamic team and help us streamline the running of our hostel in Shoreditch, as well as lay the foundations for the general growth and expansion of the business.In this position, you will have the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of the business and have the responsibility to make key decisions. You will play a key role in shaping our processes and structures as well as determining who the team is working under you. In this role, you would have full operational control, so it is important that you are able to plan, strategise and manage your own role effectively.You will need to create and execute an operational strategy that streamlines our processes and drives down waste and costs. You will hire, train, and grow your own team. Through both operational excellence and the excellence of the team beneath you, you will ensure our guests leave satisfied and happy, having had the best experience possible.About YouYou will be driven and passionate about everything you do and have plenty of energy. Because of these qualities, you would be eager to be autonomous in your role and wanting to determine your own workday and targets. You are analytical and detail-oriented, which will help you track your success and maintain high standards.
