Job title: Highways Design Team LeaderLocation: LondonJob Summary:Seeking an experienced Highways Design Team Leader to join the Consultancy division. The role is full time, permanent and offers a competitive salary (up to £70K) and a wide range of benefits.As Highways Design Team Leader, you will help lead the development and delivery of our excellent design services. You will be delivering projects in high profile central London locations such as Leicester Square and Whitehall. You will provide technical direction, liaise with clients, contractors and other divisions such as Term Maintenance, Structures and Lighting. You will resolve technical issues as they occur and monitor the progress of your areas of responsibility.Key Responsibilities:Managing designs and implementing highway engineering solutionsDeveloping excellent and effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, external providers and other agenciesCarrying out monthly programme and financial reportingLiaising with the client team on progressPreparing reports, drawings, schedules, bills of quantities, cost estimates and other documents in accordance with local proceduresSkills and Experience Required:We are looking for a Chartered Engineer, who holds IEng or equivalent. You will have significant experience of highway engineering and urban design within a consultancy environment.
