We're looking for someone to join our Commercial & Marketing team as a Retail Pricing Deployment Lead either working remotely, based in our Salford Quays, Manchester or Haywards Heath, West Sussex offices.
In this role you'll be responsible for the governance, design and development of algorithms to support pricing activity and the subsequent deployment to 'live' production environments. You will ensure all pricing changes are accurately and efficiently deployed to the radar rating algorithm and rating tables.

Whats Involved:
Collaborate with the retail pricing team to provide an innovative and effective delivery service for our Insurance Rating System.
Put in place a governance framework to ensure all rating changes are effectively deployed and prioritised.
Make recommendations to enhance rating efficiency and long-term pricing delivery capabilities, encompassing both testing and deployment.
Take ownership of building, maintaining, and monitoring production algorithms and documentation in Radar.
Develop and maintain pre- and post-live testing processes to ensure accuracy.
Participate in technical discussions to meet business needs and timelines while adhering to request requirements and governance.
Identify and manage risks associated with the role, adhering to the company risk framework. Communicate any price, model, or data issues promptly and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
Creation and monitoring of Pricing specific MI to monitor key factors such as rate movements and Price Elasticity.
Build reports and papers to support pricing position management.
Lead, inspire and coach an analyst to deliver business objectives.
Deliver coaching and feedback to direct report to achieve KPI's and SLA's, and conducting regular performance reviews, including probationary reviews and annual appraisals as necessary.
Deal with all employee issues including monitoring absence and conducting disciplinaries.
Assist the recruitment process where necessary.
Any other Ad-Hoc reasonable duties as required.
Your Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge or exposure to the insurance industry, specifically pricing and underwriting.
Familiarity with programming languages and software such as SQL, SAS, Python, Tableau.
Proficiency in defect management, including root cause analysis, design, and deployment of solutions.
Ability to define and execute test strategies to minimize the risk of errors.
Knowledge of Radar software by WTW and experience in building, developing, and testing algorithms.
Proficient in interpreting XML files.
Experience in monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement of algorithms.
Experience of working within a highly regulated environment.
Understanding of the insurance/financial services industry, its products and key regulations.
Strong stakeholder management experience within a fast paced, matrixed environment.
Proven team leadership, experience in building, motivating and inspiring high-performance teams.
Exposure to insurance business functions - pricing, digital, finance, operations, underwriting.
Your Skills:
Analytical mindset, inquisitive nature, strong communication skills, and a high level of numeracy.
A logical and strategic thinker, you will have strong coding skills as well as experience working within a pricing, data or IT function.
Ability to flex leadership style in order to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related numerical discipline.
Experience of working in Agile project environments and delivering to tight deadlines.
