Job Title: Business Development Advisor Hours of work: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm Location: Hybrid remote - 3 days office based/2 days home based. Net Zero Buildings, part of the Premier Modular Group are one of the leading offsite building providers in the UK providing buildings to a host of sectors including education, healthcare, commercial & industrial and retail. As part of that growth, we are currently recruiting for a confident, ambitious Business Development Advisor to join our existing sales team to help create new opportunities & support the growth of the business over the immediate and long term future. This is a lead generation activity and although not selling products sales skills are still a key requirement. Previous experience in a B2B telemarketing, account management or call centre work would be advantageous. The position also attracts a generous commission structure! Role Summary: As a Business Development Advisor you will be tasked with supporting the lead generation function of the Sales Team. Day to day duties will include the following but not exhaustive:
- Enquiry generation and arranging meetings
- Undertake a range of business development activities
- To ensure customer database is continually updated
- Weekly KPI reporting
- Handling incoming enquiries
- Completion of specific telemarketing campaigns as directed
- To make a minimum of 800 calls per month and utilise a variety of additional tools to support development of new relationships
- Focus on achieving monthly KPI targets
- Assisting with the professional handling of incoming enquiries including the routing of enquiries
- Process any leads or enquiries in terms of adding them to company database and/or contacting them to ascertain suitability for us to do business with
- To be guided by team leader on prioritisation of workload for forthcoming week
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times when speaking to prospects and colleagues
- Actively follow formal processes put into place as part of ISO9001
- Attend meetings as and when necessary
- Undertake any reasonable request when given by a member of senior management
- Sales admin duties and pipeline reporting
- Support the divisional director as and when required in a variety of services
- Experience in a telemarketing environment
- Experience of completing PQQ and supplier requests desirable
- General product knowledge of panelised / modular & relocatable buildings desirable
- GCSE Maths & English minimum
- IT literacy of Microsoft suite of packages including, Word, Outlook, Excel,
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software desirable (CRM)
- Full driving license, business insurance and vehicle.
