As a Product Engineering Co-Op student, you will be responsible for developing test solutions, sampling products during the development phase, and transitioning products from development to high volume mass production. Skyworks' Ottawa PETE group is mostly responsible for Wifi 802.11 RFICs, Modules and WLCSP products. You will be working closely with team members and may work with engineers across multiple functional teams as needed.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesDeveloping automation scripts in Visual Basic, Python, Java, and LabviewManual testing of product Evaluation Boards using bench equipmentAssisting with general lab dutiesQualificationsPursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS), Computer Science (BS), or related degree for the duration of the Co-OpEnrolled in a college-level Electrical, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician program or relevant programFundamental understanding of programming in Visual Basic, Python, Java, and LabviewEnjoys working in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Skills Set:Hands-on experience testing products in a lab environmentHigher level computer programming skills such as C/C++, Object Oriented Programming, and understanding of Software ArchitectureExperience in data analysis of large data setsKnowledge of Wifi and Bluetooth product specificationsSkyworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
