Build your career at Iress! You will report to the Senior People Business Partner and will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive people support advice. You will collaborate closely with people leaders and team members across the business to provide coaching and ongoing support. The Senior People Advisor will work to ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies and processes, and best practices, while fostering a positive workplace culture. The Senior People Advisor will provide expert advice and support to all members of staff on workplace relations matters. The role will be hands-on in effectively managing workplace grievances, including coaching managers through performance management processes and conducting workplace investigations. Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with:
- Provide high quality, accurate and timely People advice and support to people leaders and employees
- Support annual people processes, including performance review, objective setting, salary reviews etc
- Support the execution of HR programs of work
- Partner with people leaders to deliver annual people resource plans, ensuring appropriate engagement with the People Service & Delivery team and meeting capability, budget and headcount requirements
- Deliver, support and improve people operational deliverables as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement of people processes and delivery
- Support the Senior People Partner in organisational development and change management initiatives
- Contribute to People projects and initiatives as directed by the Senior People Partner
- Experience as a People Advisor in a fast paced environment
- Sound working knowledge of employment law and proven hands-on experience of employee relations cases and initiatives
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and remain resilient in challenging situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels, facilitate workshops, and prepare reports and presentations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborate with colleagues across departments, and build positive working relationships
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or related discipline, preferred but not required
