Global Payroll Lead / Director (Shared Services)

Job Title: Global Payroll Lead

Responsibilities:

1. Direct and oversee the global payroll team, ensuring efficient payroll operations and exceptional service delivery to all stakeholders.
2. Develop and implement a global payroll strategy that aligns with organizational goals and supports business needs.
3. Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international payroll regulations, including tax laws, labor laws, and reporting requirements.
4. Lead initiatives to streamline payroll processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
5. Manage relationships with third-party payroll service providers, ensuring they meet performance standards and compliance requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in payroll management, with significant experience in team management and outsourcing payroll services.
3. Experience managing payroll operations across at least one or two regions, such as APAC, Europe, or the US.
4. Extensive knowledge of global payroll practices, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
7. Experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies is a plus.
