7303 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92111, USA Req #362Thursday, February 1, 2024Non-Exempt - Hourly wage plus incentive compensation planJob Summary:As a Fleet Salesperson, you will be responsible for organizing and optimizing our transportation fleet to ensure we are meeting customer demands and exceeding expectations.Essential Functions:Generate business by soliciting commercial and fleet accounts over the phone, internet, in person or mailWorks directly with business, fleet, and private guests to maximize sales and profit for the fleet departmentResponds to guest inquiries over the phone or internet in a timely and professional manner to ensure guest satisfactionIntroduces guests to dealership operations, including the service and parts departments, to emphasize the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operationsMaintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to guest satisfactionMaintains and achieves the sales and customer satisfaction objectives set by managementWorks with current service customersOther duties may be assigned as neededQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentValid Driver's license and safe driving record; required to have California within 30 daysAbility to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to perform all essential functions of the job descriptionPreferred Qualifications:Ability to monitor fleet budgetsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of safety requirementsAbility to set and meet deadlinesAbility to operate the store's point of sales (POS) systemPhysical Demands:Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears.
