Senior Financial Accountant

Senior Accountant/Management Accountant - 12 Month FTC - South Dublin Reed is partnering with a fantastic Charity in South Dublin to recruit for a Senior Accountant/Management Accountant on a FTC contract for 12 months. This role is Part Time - 3/4 days per week Salary: €55,644 - €67,981 Canteen on site & Parking is available Main duties and responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts and associated financial reports (SAP accounting package). Ensure books of account are maintained accurately and reconcile on a monthly basis all balance sheet accounts. Participate in cross functional meetings and work well with colleagues to achieve both team and organisational objectives Preparation of Year End Financial Statements for External Audit and planning for same regarding year-end cut off procedures, workload, etc. Prepare monthly financial statements and other returns for the HSE. Manage and maintain existing schedules of budget allocations/ Income/ Pay and Non Pay Costs Facilitate audits as part of the year-end and internal audit process. Prepare reports for Senior Management to support decision making and service developments. Work with colleagues to maintain financial accounting systems and records to comply fully with accounting standards for public bodies. Administration of the SAP accounting package. Liaise with external stakeholders. Report to various governance committees accountable for quality and finance in line with HSE service plans. Play a lead role in developing and maintaining robust financial controls. Participate positively and productively in projects to improve systems and procedures as required.
