Business Development Manager - General Insurance

Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team, where your focus will be on acquiring new clients. Your role involves promoting a diverse range of insurance products, including Combined Liability, Motor Fleet, Cyber, and more, through proactive outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings. With a proactive attitude, you'll drive daily business growth by networking, building relationships, and meeting sales targets. Salary: 70K - 100k plus benefits Location: Dublin Your main responsibilities include: Generating new business opportunities through networking, relationship building, and attending industry events. Engaging with senior decision-makers to build a balanced pipeline for future revenue. Providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge. Managing prospect data and preparing insurer submissions. Contributing to marketing campaigns and material preparation. Maintaining activity reports and pipeline status updates. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience (3-5 years minimum) acquiring new business/clients and maintaining those relationships in the insurance sector. Minimum APA Qualification, ideally CIP Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a network within the industry are essential.
