Our client, specializing in the labour relations industry in the Kwa-Zulu Natal region, is seeking a Credit Controller (and Office Supervisor). Your primary goal would be to resolve all account queries and ensure all accounts are up to date. It is your foremost responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the information entered onto the system while maintaining a high level of company confidentiality.Behavioural CompetencyExcellent communication skills both verbally and in writingGreat decision making and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated individualFunctions with minimal supervisionConflict handling skillsA good sense of judgementAbility to influenceDuties include the following, but not limited to:Financial Administration Ensure all debit orders are loaded in the system on timeManage allocation of payments to correct accountsEnsure all accounts are up to dateManage and amend new and existing establishment statementsManage Account reconciliations Avail client statements on requestEnsure submission of all client break downs of outstanding fees (arrears) and account reconciliationsProcess ad hoc invoices and credit notesImport of bank statements as well as incoming payments from the suspense accountClient Relationship ManagementAttend and assist all walk-in clientsEnsure timeous response to client queries and concernsAttend to all e-mail, telephonic and walk-in queries and ensure they are resolved on timeEscalate urgent matters to the Finance and Administration ManagerData CapturingManage and ensure consistent employee data input and removal from systemCapture and update employee information regularly and in timeManage the addition and closing of establishments in the system ReportingCompiling of monthly reports indicating queries, recommendations and actions takenAvail a collection figures report to the Finance DepartmentAdministrationEnsure all establishment files are kept up to dateGeneral Office AdministrationEnsure cleaner and staff sign attendance registerSubmission of attendance registers to Finance DepartmentManage courier services for area in conjunction with Finance SupervisorOrder stationery and refreshments as well as purchasing ad hoc items when needed in conjunction with Finance SupervisorChairing of meetings and taking notes (includes minute taking where needed) as may be required by the Finance and Admin ManagerSupervision of the daily operations of the office, including liaison with staffRequirements:MatricDiploma in Credit Management would be advantageous3-5 years' experience in Credit Management/Control3 years' experience in Office AdministrationThrough understanding of SAP system - not negotiableSound understanding of credit controlBargaining Council experience an advantageSalary: R13 000 CTC If you don't hear from us within 3 weeks of your application, please consider your application unsuccessful.
