You would be responsible for contributing toward the testing of new and existing features on AXIOM Examine. You will be a strong contributor in our daily testing practices while looking to help lead our overall test strategy. Our testing roles offer a lot of autonomy and ability to drive the testing solutions to push quality to the next level. Through exploratory and automation testing, we are always learning as a team and constantly evolving.ResponsibilitiesLead efforts to plan, create, and execute automated testsLead efforts to improve test maintainability, reusability, and code qualityDesign and implement testing tools required to execute testing effectively and efficientlyMaintain existing frameworks and scriptsDebug complex software systemsEffectively report quality metrics; investigating regression failuresProvide technical leadership, without a formal reporting structure, offering recommendations & direction on key decisions for the engineering team and to drive innovation for testing approachContribute to the creation of test strategies together with team and stakeholdersComfortable working in a self-guided manner with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficientlyOwnership of skill development; staying up to date within your area of expertiseKeep up to date with testing trends that could improve our products and/or testing workAdapt to changes as they arise from business & customer needsQualificationsBachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field, or equivalent practical experience8+ years applied experience with Test AutomationProficient in C#Coding experience with automated testing frameworksExperience working in an agile frameworkAptitude and interest in learning new technologiesExperience & desire to work in an environment where you have autonomy and can direct the test strategyPrioritize team collaboration and successStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdditional assetsWell versed in AWS services including EC2 & S3 handling as well as AMI setupSQLite experienceGit or version control experienceJenkins toolingPerformance testing and optimizationTest Studio experienceThe Most Important ThingWe're looking for candidates that can provide examples of how they demonstrated Magnet CODE in their previous experiences.CARE - We care about each other and our mission to make a difference in the world.OWN - We are accountable for our results - while never forgetting to act with integrity, empathy, and respect.DEDICATE - We put our heart and soul into meeting the needs of our customers and helping them serve the people they protect.EVOLVE - We are constantly innovating and exploring new ways to work together to make an impact with our work.Compensation & Benefits:The Compensation Range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.
