Construction Manager
AAA Facility Management, PakistanResponsibilities:
Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Job SpecificationQualifications:
Bachelor in Civil Engineering from a recognized local or foreign university with relevant experience. Candidates with higher education in Construction Management or Project Management will be preferred.
At least 6 to 8 years' experience of project management in construction, preferably in education, healthcare, research or public health sectors.
Experience in project management, process improvement, and budget management is essential; Certification in Project Management would be a definite asset.
Extensive knowledge of infrastructure development and practical knowledge of project management.
Techniques for handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances/conflicts, as well as negotiating with consultants.
Excellent knowledge of all planning tools as well as Mechanical, Electrical & Control fields.
Supervisory skills and team leadership qualities to independently lead a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to independently make decisions for operational activities, subject to policies and procedures.
Conduct ongoing risk analysis, identifying risks involved and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to deliver effectively under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work with cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural teams both in a team setting and independently.
