Urban Gym Group is an industry pioneer within the European wellness and fitness community, with over 40 clubs and studios in major cities across the Netherlands. You might know us from brands such as Trainmore, ClubSportive, Renessence, and BTY CLB. Our ambitious domestic and international growth plans require an expansion of marketing leadership team, and as Head of Marketing, you will play a crucial role in realizing Urban Gym Group's growth objectives.

As the Head ofMarketing at Urban Gym Group, you will be the right hand of our CMO and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, execution and evaluation of our marketing acquisition and retention activities. You will directly and indirectly lead our marketing team of +- 15FTE and ensure the alignment of our marketing strategy with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering impactful marketing campaigns and achieving our commercial business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve our commercial goals.

Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels

Track, measure, and report the effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust strategies as needed.

Team Leadership and Development:

Coach and mentor the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Recruit, train, and develop marketing professionals to build a robust team.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Monitor marketing spend and ROI to ensure financial effectiveness.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including branding, sales, customer care, business leads and our club managers to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

Present marketing plans, results, and insights to the CMO and other key stakeholders.

Member Insights and Analytics:

Utilize data and analytics to understand customer behavior and market trends.

Leverage insights to drive decision-making and improve marketing performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within membership sales.

Experience in working in a scale-up environment where the customer always comes first.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Flexible and getting things done - mentality.

Commercial mindset.

High interest in the fitness industry.
