As Sales Manager, I will manage the efficient operation of my department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget. I will work strategically with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop cohesive and productive goals for my department and establish procedures/guidelines to achieve them. I will maintain an overall consistency of the Company's vision, quality/standards and develop concepts consistent with brand identity.My scope of work includes:Exceeds personal sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.Solicits groups, transient, and/or banquet businesses through action plan preparation and execution.Independently responsible for the achievement of objectives, as outlined in the action plans.Determines and recommends prospective customers from market information and resources.Within established parameters, quotes and negotiates prices, confirmed by written contracts.Actively supports the goals of the team facilities, ends revenue-producing activities and ways to implement them.Task/Participates in sales calls, business trips, trade shows, conventions, and promotional events within the hotel and trade-related organizations.Maintains positive relationships with all guests, vendors, colleagues.Maintains account, contact, activity, and business details within Opera S&C according to Six Senses standards.Upon closing, coordinates and follows up with other hotel departments to ensure delivery of the hotel's promised services.Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required.Responds to incoming business opportunities for the hotel within 24 hours.As directed, assists with the compilation of competitive intelligence information.Attends all sales meetings, as required.Where applicable, responsible for ongoing mentoring and coaching of support colleagues.Actively participates in prescribed sales training.Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.Processes will be constantly assessed and reviewed to remain relevant, innovative and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.Support and review services, products and rates to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.The above is intended to provide an overview of the role and responsibilities for a Sales Manager at Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea.
