Role Objective:Interested candidate please share your cv to vrishali.dandekar@capita.com.The RoleSupport the division in providing a full production of a financial model or business case (detailed P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, financial projections and supporting info & analysis) that incorporates all financial and commercial decisions / assumptions of the bidUnderstanding of the resource model, Transition and transformation plans incorporated into bids. Financial statements structured in accordance with most likely IFRS impact on the financial statementAbility to read through the client document at various stages; raise clarification questions (if any), ensure that the solutioning incorporates all client CQ responses, all commercial point that would impact the financials (high risk, delayed cash flow, etc.) and financial model revision to incorporate client requirement(s)Ability to multi task and lead multiple pricing request, liaise / raise concerns with multiple stakeholders, ability to lead conversation independently and achieve competitive price for businessHighest level of engagement to lead the bid review meetings with senior management at various forumsEngage with various internal stakeholders & clients to facilitate accurate and smooth bid submission in client templateEnsure industry best practice is implemented where applicableData analysis and presentation and model risk assessmentCommercial support and challenge on key assumptions and production of detailed, logical supporting to financial modelsYour backgroundQualified Chartered Accountant with 5 to 8 years' experience OR Cost Accountant with 7 to 10 years' experience as financial modeler with Advanced excel &/or VBA (i.e. at a minimum can produce and has experience of production and use of mathematical, financial, lookup and reference functions; can work with large amounts of data, complex calculations, manage multiple input source, provide a consolidated view etc), experience in managing client commercial/pricing requirements, understanding of various pricing structure, good understanding of application of IFRS for each bid, lead presentations on pricing & projected financial statements and impact analysis for risk (as required). Understanding of UK accounting is a must. Experience of deal pricing and other aspects of Commercial Finance, Commercial Deal Shaping and Commercial Deal Architecture (would be desirable)Strong communication skills (both written & verbal) for clear and precise discussion with the leadership team across geographies, ability to liaise with multiple functions and personnel, prompt adaptation to new mechanisms and partner with business to achieve competitive price.Strong negotiation skills, experience in performing scenario & sensitivity analysis andproduce pricing dashboards will be a PLUS.
