UI Designer with JavaScript Angular/TypeScript

Project Description:Applications are invited for the position of UI Designer with JavaScript Angular/TypeScript Knowledge, working for one of Luxoft's clients as part of a telecom test solution engineering team.The successful candidate will work as a key member of the telecom test solution Engineering team. We are contributing to a family of products that are used for functional, system integration, capacity and stress testing in the lab and emulate up 1000's of mobile devices, across multiple cells to set up and test 4G and 5G Base Stations.Responsibilities:Full participation in the development life cycle for new features, from specification writing, to design, implementation and testing, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standardsDelivering new features to the product from design through to development and testing, prototyping where necessary.Ensuring the product's Quality and Performance based on automated tests integrated within a Continuous Integration system.Finding and alleviating architectural bottlenecks, providing solutions that truly help our customers achieving the same.Exposing our product's features and capabilities through a configuration and management interface that is truly useful for the customer.Making our solution smarter, easier to integrate, and more able to diagnose issues and provide insightful and practical tips to our customers.Working effectively with the Test & Verification team to resolve issuesMandatory Skills Description:2-4 years of professional experience in UI design or related roles; ideally a strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI design projects, including examples of user-centered design processes.Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as FigmaExperience in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.Understanding of UI frameworks like Material Design, Bootstrap, etc.God knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus to understand the implementation of designsGood knowledge of JavaScript (3+ years), HTML5, CSS3Ability to maintain design consistency and adhere to branding guidelines across different platforms.Familiarity with UX design principles and processes.Good understanding of the responsive design approachFamiliarity with working in agile development environments.Good spoken and written EnglishNice-to-Have Skills Description:Usability Testing: Experience with usability testing and gathering user feedback to improve designs.User Research: Basic understanding of user research methods and the ability to integrate insights into the design process.Animation and Microinteractions: Knowledge of creating animations and micro-interactions to enhance user experience.Design Systems: Experience in building or working within a design system.Good understanding of OOP JS, Ajax and software design patternsGood knowledge of modern Angular (e.g. v14+) technology for projectGood knowledge of Bootstrap 3+ and LESSMinimal level of experience with data streaming in front-end which implies async programming - we will consider any similar technology such as WebSockets, gRPC, RX/JS ; use of charting libraries such as HighCharts, AmChart or similar.Strong knowledge of Single Page Applications (2+ years) over RESTmigration and new features development (1+ years)Version control: Git and SVNContinuous IntegrationExperience and knowledge of networking or telecom domain solutions PRB
