About the role

The Afiniti Engineering team is creating proprietary data analysis, visualization, and monitoring software using cutting-edge technologies, as well as contributing to engineer the next generation of Afiniti products. As a UI/UX Designer, you will work within the Afiniti Insights team and collaborate with other cross-functional Agile teams of developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to create innovative, highly usable, modern, and sleek interfaces for multiple web and desktop-based products targeting both internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities

Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using Figma.

Consult engineers and product designers regarding the product.

Plan and develop new wireframes for digital products.

Use sitemaps, process flowcharts, and storyboards for illustration and depiction of designs.

Present your designs to the design team and all stakeholders.

Review and edit the mockups according to client feedback.

Monitor and manage previously developed systems.

Use design systems to maintain the consistency of the application.

Comfortable with working on multiple projects in parallel.

The drive to own and be fully invested in all design-specific parts of the product.

Strength in at least two of the following areas: interaction design, visual design, content strategy, information architecture, design strategy, or user research.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's or higher degree in Communication Design, HCI, Digital Media, or similar disciplines.

Proven 7 to 8 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, UI Designer, UX Designer, or a similar role.

Hands-on UI practices in Figma are very important.

Preferred Qualifications

A strong desire for creative problem-solving with a positive attitude.

Outstanding written and oral English communication skills.

Ability to work both in a group and independently.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Strong design thinking skills.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics.

Multitasking.
