Job Summary: The Sales Account Manager will focus on developing a target list of emerging customer accounts and prospects based on the product/services portfolio of GLS and the innate market potential. He/she will have the primary responsibility for driving the execution of sales engagements within the target market. The Sales Account Manager will be accountable for continuous account management and planning that drives short-term and long-term growth, new customer footprints/applications, funnel management, accurate forecasting, and field relationships with Partners to expand coverage within the market, and for working with Professional Services within GLS to build a sustainable product and business development stream. This is a quota carrying position.
Job DescriptionAnalyze and create solution offers and proposals to ensure customer requirements are addressed and cover a value-based pricing model.
Work through the sales process with key internal and customer-related players to minimize issues in the close of an order and ensure that both GLS' and customer objectives are met in the agreed timeframe.
Manage own sales activities by ensuring sales-related activities gain customer commitment, build momentum, and accelerate the sales cycle.
Ensure that sales activity, funnel, and revenue commitment are properly executed.
Effectively advise and influence customers through consultative selling techniques.
Research the customer/prospect environment to understand the political relationships and their impact on buying behaviors within the customer account to determine appropriate sales approach for each level within the organization.
Develop a competitive sales strategy that anticipates competitor actions and positions GLS as the best in the market to meet customer objectives.
Utilize a structured approach for identifying and measuring the quality of potential new business through accurate forecasting and assessment of probability of closure.
Job Specification4-5 years Solution Sales experience is a must.
Good experience in selling complex technology solutions.
Good knowledge of the local and international Mobile Applications space.
Strong customer relationship skills, with some experience in interfacing with customers at senior levels on a regular basis.
Ability in selling and articulating solutions sales.
Ability to lead complex tenders and proposals.
Ability to deliver on Quota/Target assigned.
Ability to independently travel and meet with customers within the assignment territory, with own transport.
English and Urdu / Written and Verbal is a must.
