SaskEnergy Incorporated's Digital, Technology & Security (DT&S) is comprised of four functional groups focused on Network and Infrastructure, Business Applications, Security, and Business Process and Analytics. All four groups work closely together to provide an efficient and reliable IT environment.Enterprise Architecture provides project and initiative oversight focused on business, information, integration, security, and technology domains. Additionally, the Enterprise Architect(s) deliver high quality and effective solutioning services for small initiatives and consulting directly to business units. Roadmaps and planning will also be core to this role to ensure SaskEnergy has a robust, secure, and effective technology environment.Description of RequirementsThe resource will have a minimum 10 years of recent and practical IT experience, including five (5) years working as part of an enterprise architecture team, and have a broad and solid understanding of architecture principles, technologies, and IT trends.Requirements (Pass/Fail):Pass/Fail: Resource must have a minimum 10 years of recent and practical IT experience.Pass/Fail: Resource must have a minimum 5 years of recent and practical experience as an architect for projects.Pass/Fail: Resource must be TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) Certified.The resource will have:Experience influencing and establishing strategic architecture direction within an organization.Practical experience working on a project team as an architect.Practical capability planning and road-mapping experience.Experience working in a utility or engineering industry.TOGAF Certification.North American job experience.Experience with agile project management methodologies.Activities in this role include:Working closely with business leaders, including senior management and the Executive.Developing architecture strategies, reference architectures, and models.Leading solution planning, supporting the design, and assuming a technical leadership role as part of project teams, acting as the representative for DT&S.Supporting other technical resources to deliver solutions.Ensuring solutions are successfully delivered into operations.The preference for start date is as soon as possible. The initial term for this role will conclude on March 31, 2023; after which SaskEnergy will evaluate its ongoing requirements and potentially extend the term for this Resource in accordance with the terms and conditions of the proponent's Technology Master Service Agreement (TMSA).The Resource will be required to work and be located on site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm and the proposed hourly rate shall be inclusive of all travel and living costs (PST and GST are extra).CONTRACT DURATIONThe Contract will be effective for an initial term commencing on the date of award and ending on March 31, 2023. The Contract will automatically renew for successive one (1) year terms, a maximum of four (4) times.
