Currently, we are conducting a search on behalf of a widely recognized government organization located in Riyadh for the position of an experienced IT Governance and Planning Sr. Manager.

As the IT Governance and Planning Sr. Manager at the client's organization, you will play a critical role in overseeing the organization's IT governance framework and strategy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, and driving continuous improvement in IT processes and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT governance and planning, with a proven track record in designing and implementing IT governance frameworks. You should have a broad understanding of IT processes, procedures, and best practices, and be able to effectively communicate IT governance requirements to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Developing and implementing IT governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices

Assessing and improving IT processes and procedures to align with governance requirements and drive efficiency

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective IT governance and alignment with strategic goals

Providing expert guidance and support to senior executives and stakeholders on IT governance matters

Monitoring and reporting on IT governance metrics and key performance indicators

Leading the development and execution of IT planning processes and activities

Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to optimize IT governance

Ensuring IT projects and initiatives are aligned with governance requirements and strategic objectives

Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in IT governance and planning

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Proven experience: 7-12 years of experience as an IT Governance or Planning Manager, with a track record of successful governance implementations
