Looking for Voice Engineer : Remote : Contract (Long Term)Contract : 6 - 12 MonthsLocation: 100% RemoteJob Summary:Key Responsibilities:Voice System Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and manage voice communication solutions to meet business requirements.Voice System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure voice system stability and performance.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex voice communication issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed voice system documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.Security: Implement and maintain voice system security measures to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of voice solutions with other systems.Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve voice system performance and reliability through new technologies and best practices.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in voice engineering, with a focus on voice communication systems.Skills:Familiar with Familiar with Cisco Voice environment - Call Manager, SME, Unity Connection, SIP Gateways, Experience in deploying SIP PSTN and SIP over TLS.Proficiency in configuring and managing voice communication devices (e.g., IP phones, PBX systems).Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.Familiarity with voice system monitoring and management tools.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in voice communication (e.g., CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice).Experience in a technology or consulting environment.Familiarity with voice system automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
