Responsibilities:
Prepare and create project budget for construction projects in respect to all terms of technical aspects to provide an accurate project budget in coordination with other stakeholders.
Manage the contractor's submitted EOT claims with respect to the approved baselines providing the full analyses needed after the verification and the study of the claim events & assessment done by the Engineer in a timely manner to avoid impacting the project progress and keep progress on track.
Review Tender B.O.Q's received by design consultants before tendering.
Review payment certificates for contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
Responsible for the VO process and coordination between all parties till we finalize the VO.
Ensure applying contract conditions, especially with regard to payment terms, penalties, deductions, etc.
Prepare cost estimates and review cost assessments received from consultants.
Monitor and control project budgets.
Liaise with all departments to ensure scope of works are well identified.
Prepare monthly cost reports for the monitoring of projects.
Advise the project director/PM on any issues that may impact cost or time and provide cost control advice to the project team.
Prepare final accounts and update project cost estimates considering any changes occurred or expected.
Ensure documents are maintained with the company policies and procedures.
Assist in preparing the company cash flow for the upcoming years by estimating the entire upcoming projects budget in accordance with project schedules.
Ensure records and documents are filed and maintained in line with company procedures.
Prepare and manage overall master schedule integrating work breakdown structure using scheduling software.
Develop and implement plan versus actual progress charts (histograms/S curves). Report and analyze deviations from the plan.
Liaise with all team leaders and/or members to communicate required completion dates and interface between the functional team/operational team and project team.
Participate in all meetings (progress meetings, coordination meetings, etc.).
Ensure that time-limited work is brought to the attention of the line manager/officer.
Ensure procurement, material, and submittal logs are created and maintained.
Monitor design, procurement, and construction progress for compliance with the contract requirements.
Develop mitigation strategies.
Prepare weekly/monthly project progress reports to be issued to the top management.
Assist in identifying critical milestones including critical interfaces with utility providers and other third parties.#J-18808-Ljbffr
