Deck Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Deck Designer to join our team. As a Deck Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and presenting innovative deck designs to clients. Your role will involve understanding client needs, translating them into design concepts, creating detailed plans and drawings, and effectively communicating your vision through compelling pitches and presentations. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences for deck designs.
• Develop creative and practical deck designs that align with client needs, budget, and aesthetic preferences.
• Create detailed sketches, 2D plans, and 3D models using design software and traditional drafting techniques.
• Present design concepts to clients in a clear and persuasive manner, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the design and construction phases.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction techniques to incorporate into designs.

• Proven experience as a Deck Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Suite, MS PowerPoint, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes related to deck design.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, or related field preferred.
