What is Specialist Ethics & Compliance?

The person will be responsible for managing the risks related to third parties, ensuring controls over third party payments, developing training content for employees, and preparing/updating the department dashboard.

The role reports directly to the Manager of Ethics & Compliance.

What Specialist Ethics & Compliance does?

Responsible for performing due diligence of third parties via the available screening tool to address any potential Ethics & Compliance (E&C) and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) related risks.

Responsible for reconciliation of Red Flag Vendor List (RFVL) business partners and Vendor Master File (VMD) to ensure RFVL Vendors are not awarded any business.

Work with cross-functional teams (CFTs) for timely implementation of Third Party Screening tool.

Ensure payment/procurement related controls regarding third parties and assist/advice to the Accounts department.

Review contracts from an E&C perspective and ensure all risks are appropriately addressed and compliance provisions are incorporated.

Perform and provide support in periodic self-assess and Monitoring & Testing (M&T) exercise for effective assessment and controls.

Provide support on Audit activities to Internal/External Auditors and ensure timely/effective closure of all E&C related audits.

Perform compliance/sanction screening of the parties engaged for commercial/social investment or asset dispose-off process and further share with the legal team for appropriate measures.

Responsible for managing online training platforms and developing E&C related training content for employees on a periodic basis.

Responsible for effectively managing and updating the training calendar.

Manage the E&C dashboard and perform any other Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Management in a timely manner.

Requirements

Relevant experience in the fields of Legal, Contract Management, Finance, or in other risk assurance functions.

Proficient at report writing and analysis.

Business knowledge, eager to learn new things.

Strong team player, solution-oriented.

Inquisitive and detail-oriented.

Tech-savvy and well-versed with MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

Relationship builder with a collaborative approach.

Good verbal communication and presentation skills.

The person should be willing to travel to different regions on a need basis and as per business requirement.
