Job Description:Assistant Project ManagerDubai, UAEWhat You'll be Doing:Provide support to Project Manager/Project Director in managing the design delivery of a portfolio of projects.Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project. May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.Oversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.Establish the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitor the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.Responsible for the development and distribution of a one to two-page description of the project to all members of the project team for reference.Manage and control all the project communications.Coordinate and control all deliverables.Projects' quality management.Projects' reporting.Stakeholder management.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 6 years experience, preferably in water, roads, and infrastructure projects.Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients, and enjoy being hands-on technically in the project.Our Assistant Project Managers still get very involved in the designs on the project.Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards.Incumbent must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements.Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, with excellent written and oral communications.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/None.Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
