Job description:Job Purpose Transition of products from design to manufacturing, ensuring a smooth and efficient production process.Key Accountability Areas Product Transition:Collaborate with design teams to facilitate the smooth transition of products from the design phase to manufacturing.Analyze and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Manufacturability Assessment:Conduct assessments to ensure the manufacturability of designed products.Identify and address potential issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.Process Optimization:Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to enhance overall productivity.Prototype Development:Oversee the development of prototypes and pilot production runs.Collaborate with production teams to address any challenges encountered during the prototype phase.Quality Assurance:Work closely with quality control teams to establish and maintain high-quality standards.Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet specified requirements.Material Selection:Collaborate with materials and procurement teams to select appropriate materials for manufacturing.Evaluate material costs and availability to optimize production efficiency.Role Accountability HR Proficiency:Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.Delivery:Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.Problem-Solving:Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.Quality:Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.Business Process Improvements:Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.Compliance:Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.Academic Qualification Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Any relevant fieldWork Experience 4 to 6 YearsTechnical / Functional Competencies Industrial EngineeringProfile description:Alfanar is a Saudi company with an international presence, primarily engaged in the manufacturing and trading of a wide variety of low, medium, and high voltage electrical products, in addition to its portfolio of conventional and renewable energy solutions, oil and gas, water treatment, infrastructure, technical services, and digital solutions. The hub of alfanar's manufacturing operations is Medinet alfanar Alsinaiya, a 700,000 square-meter complex located in Riyadh.
