Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 05/22/2024 We are supporting our client in their search for an Investment/Portfolio Specialist (Financial Services sector). As an expert in the Financial Services sector, the Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies, managing the SWF's investment portfolios, and optimizing asset allocation to achieve the fund's financial objectives. Key Responsibilities: Support in the development of comprehensive investment strategies aligned with the SWF's long-term goals. Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities across various asset classes. Oversee daily management of investment portfolios in this sector, ensuring optimal asset allocation and diversification. Monitor portfolio performance and make necessary adjustments to meet return expectations and manage risks. Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities. Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate investment risks. Prepare and present detailed reports on portfolio performance and investment strategies to the investment committee and senior management. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including analysts, traders, external fund managers, and financial institutions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all investment activities. Stay updated on global economic trends, market developments, and geopolitical events impacting investments. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and understand their objectives. Contribute strategic input during investment committee meetings and high-level decision-making processes. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field Master's degree or CFA designation is highly preferred. 5-8 years of experience in portfolio management, investment banking, or asset management, with a focus on institutional investments. Must have experience in portfolio management of Financial Services sector Proven track record of successful portfolio management and investment strategy implementation. Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills. In-depth knowledge of global financial markets and investment instruments. Excellent communication and presentation skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
