Accounts Specialist - Corporate Services Specialist (Year 3-4)

In our Firm, the designation for the Accounts Specialist role is referred to Corporate Services Specialist.  Job Description: Reporting to the directors, your main role is to be a fieldwork team leader on accounting and related assignments, ensuring that these assignments are planned, executed, documented and concluded based on the relevant professional standards; Specifically, your areas of responsibilities are to:

1. Provide guidance and supervise the work of junior colleagues on the accounting and related assignments;
2. Assist in the preparation of reports and schedules that are to be delivered to the clients and other external parties using robotic process automation (RPA) technology;
3. Assist in the functions of client portfolio management;
4. Ensure all clients’ needs are met in regards to answering queries promptly, building relationship with client and anticipating requirements;
5. Provide clients with value-adding recommendations for improvements in processes and controls;
6. Participate in sales and marketing activities;
7. Prepare payroll reports, administration of payroll funds and CPF contribution;
8. Liaise with tax and audit parties

  Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification under ACCA, SCA and ICAEW schemes
• Minimum 2-3 years accounting/audit work experience in a public accounting firm
• Conversant and understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Company Act
• Leadership skills to lead a team of junior accountants
• Proactive, committed and a team player
• Possess strong interpersonal skills
• Possess initiative and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Able to commence work immediately
