SS&Co. and its member firms are providing Audit, Accounting, Tax, Financial & Management Consultancy various counties headquartered in UAE. To know more about the company, please visit company's website www.sscoGlobal.com for more information.We are looking for Tax and Compliance Specialist as part of our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to help our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies that complement business and operational objectives, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, and manage tax accounting and reporting issues. You'll be engaged in projects dealing with international tax, tax accounting, regulatory processes, tax reporting and strategy.Responsibilities:Researching tax laws (Local and Global)Preparing Articles and contents for internal and external Training related to Tax and Compliance issuesGathering information and explaining options for best practice to clientsPreparing quarterly and annual tax compliancePreparing federal and state income taxEnsuring that tax returns are filed in accordance with tax authoritiesIssuing tax permits and ensuring that taxpayers are in compliancePerforming tax research and drafting memorandums on various federal and state tax issuesDriving development of technology solutions for tax compliance technology solutionsManaging key external advisor relationshipsTraining and mentoring of tax groupReviewing and signing off on tax returns prepared internallyAny other task assigned by the managementQualifications:Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, preference will be given to qualified accountants (ACCA, CPA, CA)3+ years' tax experienceHighly organized with excellent attention to detailMust have good knowledge in Microsoft ExcelHandle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsiblyCompany Name:Sidra Salman & Co.
