In this role you will; • A deep understanding of the Scrum framework, its principles, values, and practices. This includes knowledge of Scrum roles, artifacts, events, and their interdependencies. • Familiarity with Agile principles and values that underpin the Scrum framework. Understanding the Agile mindset and its emphasis on collaboration, iterative development, and continuous improvement. • Proficiency in facilitating meetings, workshops, and discussions effectively. You should be skilled in various facilitation techniques that encourage participation, foster collaboration, and drive decision-making. • The ability to coach and mentor team members, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile practices and Scrum processes. This includes guiding individuals and teams towards self-organization, continuous improvement, and high performance. • Competence in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges within the team or with stakeholders. Able to facilitate constructive conversations, encourage open communication, and find win-win solutions. • Knowledge of relevant metrics and reporting techniques to monitor and track team progress, velocity, and other performance indicators. • Familiarity with continuous improvement practices, such as retrospectives, to drive team learning, adaptability, and optimization. • Proficiency in using Agile tools and techniques that support Scrum practices, such as Kanban boards, burndown charts, and collaborative platforms. • Understanding change management principles and practices to navigate and facilitate organizational transitions towards Agile and - Scrum. Share the knowledge and practices at the community of practice • Preferably have at least one Scrum Certification like scaled certification (SAFe 5, SCRUM Master), PSMI, AGILE PM, etc. • Ability to work with several teams in parallel. • Language proficiency: Portuguese (Fluent), English (Advanced) and Spanish (Desirable). • Experience working in Agile Projects and Agile Teams as Scrum Master. • Previous experiences in agile or waterfall projects related to Pharma/Healthcare, Commercial, Sales Force Effectiveness, Market Intelligence, Business Intelligence or Advanced Analytics solutions implementation are competitive differentiators. And much better if you stand out for: • Responsible for ensuring that all Scrum/Team events (such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives) are appropriately planned, organized and facilitated. • In a SAFe configuration: o Prepare for PI planning: SM/TC facilitates the team in creating a draft PI plan, identifying ART risks and issues. • Support PI planning: Collaborate with other SM/TCs and the Release Train Engineer (RTE), actively working with the team during PI planning to achieve successful event execution. • Support ART in delivering value: Coordinate with other teams and work within the ART cadence • Provide guidance and support to the Scrum Team, helping them understand and implement Scrum practices and principles. Assist the team in self-organization, multifunctionality and achieving their objectives. • Support the team in developing and applying lightweight, agile rules such as Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP) integrated quality practices, Kanban work in progress (WIP) limits, and any other process rules the team has agreed upon • Promote quality practices and provide guidance to constantly improve the quality of team results and meet the Definition of Done (DoD)• Guide the Squad on the importance of documenting and communicating important decisions and making them transparent • Responsible for identifying and removing any obstacles/impediments that hinder the Scrum Team's progress. This involves resolving issues that impact productivity, coordinating with other teams or stakeholders, and ensuring a smooth workflow. • Foster a collaborative team environment. Facilitate effective collaboration between team members, stakeholders, and product owners to maximize the value delivered by the team. • Protecting the Team: Acts as a buffer between the development team and external distractions, protecting the team from external interference and unnecessary interruptions. • Progress Monitoring and Metrics: Monitor the team's progress towards achieving Sprint goals and ensure they are following defined Scrum processes. Help the team track and interpret relevant metrics and data to identify areas for improvement. • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team and organization. This involves facilitating retrospectives to reflect on past performance, identify areas for growth, and implement changes to increase team efficiency and effectiveness. • Transparent: The Scrum master must be able to create an environment in the team where everyone is encouraged to be transparent. This helps raise awareness of any topic that requires support, helps identify planned versus actual results, and also helps identify any anti-patterns. The SM must also be open to feedback. • Servant Leadership: As a Scrum Master, you embody the principles of servant leadership. Support the team by meeting their needs, facilitating their growth and defending their best interests. Lead by example, demonstrating Agile and Scrum values ​​and mindset. • Monitor the team's progress towards achieving Sprint goals and ensure they are following defined Scrum processes. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team and organization. This involves facilitating retrospectives to reflect on past performance, identify areas for growth, and implement changes to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
