Senior Budgeting Manager

Overview Position: Senior Budgeting Manager Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive budgeting processes and procedures in alignment with the company's financial goals and objectives - Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to provide actionable insights to senior management - Collaborate with various departments to gather budget input, track spending, and ensure adherence to budget constraints - Conduct variance analysis to identify areas of concern and recommend appropriate corrective actions - Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the potential impact of different financial scenarios on the company's performance - Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide regular updates to senior management - Lead and mentor a team of budgeting analysts to ensure accurate and timely budgeting and reporting Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field - CPA or CFA certification preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or related field - Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Proven leadership experience and ability to manage a team effectively Salary: negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
