Job Title: Technical Documentation Specialist (Contract)

Job Overview:

We are seeking four skilled Technical Documentation Specialists to join our team on a contract basis. The primary role is to create detailed technical documentation for system architecture, databases, APIs, and UML diagrams. The ideal candidates will work closely with our software development and engineering teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

System Architecture Documentation :Develop detailed documentation of the system architecture, including high-level and low-level design specifications.

Create diagrams and flowcharts to represent system components, data flow, and integration points.Database Documentation :Document database schemas, data models, and relationships between tables.

Provide detailed explanations of database design decisions, indexing strategies, and optimization techniques.API Documentation :Write comprehensive API documentation, including endpoint descriptions, request/response formats, parameters, authentication methods, and example use cases.

Collaborate with developers to ensure API documentation is up-to-date and reflects the latest changes.UML Diagrams :Create UML diagrams (class, sequence, activity, etc.) to visually represent system processes, data flow, and component interactions.

Ensure diagrams are accurate and aligned with system design and implementation.Collaboration and Review :Work closely with software developers, system architects, and other stakeholders to gather information and validate documentation accuracy.

Participate in review sessions to refine and update documentation based on feedback.Requirements:

Proven experience in technical documentation for software systems, databases, and APIs.

Strong knowledge of UML diagramming techniques and tools (e.g., Lucid chart, draw.io, Visio).

Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.

Familiarity with software development processes and agile methodologies.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
