You are responsible for fully testing the product or system to ensure it functions properly and fits its purpose as well as meets the business needs.Job titleSenior QA EngineerReports toProject Manager, VPDuties and ResponsibilitiesTest and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements.Able to write stories, and acceptance criteria, create test specifications, prepare bug reports, use bug summary reports, analyze bug reports statistically as required and release the build.Work with the project/product team to understand requirements to design comprehensive test specifications and work with developers for unit testing.Execute the plans to thoroughly test all software releases under your charge, which can include mobile apps, client and server-side products, API platforms, and server infrastructure.Significantly increases our test automation coverage.Help define, implement, and drive adoption of QA best practices, proactively help improve processes, take up the role of an advocate for implementing technical best practices, and ensure the system's quality as a whole.QA Engineer Requirements and QualificationsGraduate from any reputable university and possess atleast 5 years of experience in QA Engineer, Software Testing or a similar role.Hands-on experience in automated and manual testing in web and mobile apps.Experience working in an agile environment. Knowledge of agile methodology: Scrum, Kanban, TTD, and Lean.Hands-on experience in automated and manual testing and skilled in automated test tools for web, mobile, and server-side software. Experience in testing IOT systems is preferable.Deep understanding of QA and QC practices, including best practices, processes, all kinds of testing types, and application development life cycle.Excellent knowledge in testing skills, setting up test environments, designing test plans, test strategy, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, executing these cases, reopening and verifying bugs.Experience in creating test cases for functional. UAT, integration tests, Web APP, and mobile APPSkilled in methods/techniques of functional and non-functional testing such as Black/Whitebox, Integration, UAT, beta, SQL testing, API, smoke, sanity, regression, stress, load, performance, compatibility, compliance, UI/UX and performance testing, etc.Should be skilled in using application development life cycle and management tools like JIRA, and testing and bug tracking tools like Zephyr, qTest, X-ray, Mantis, and automated tools like Selenium, Blaze Meter, and so on.· Experience in release management and collaborative management and integration tools: Git, Bitbucket.· Web Concepts: REST, JSON, OOP, Dependency Injection, SOAP.Understanding the basic SQL/programming concept.Experience in a wide range of Open Source Software, Mobile APPS, and location-based servicesCritical thinker, problem-solving skills, Good time-management skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, need to be tactful and diplomatic to maintain a good working relationship with the software developers, ability to work under pressure and maintain deadline.Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs180,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Rawalpindi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor's (Required)Experience:Quality Assurance: 5 years (Preferred)Location:Rawalpindi (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
