- Bachelor degree holder
- Legal knowledge of relevant employment laws (Malaysia or APAC)
- Knowledgeable of HR rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Experience developing and revising HR Policies and procedures.
- Experience creating training content and materials
- Proven experience in HR governance, compliance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and their implications for HR governance
- SUMMARY OF JOB
- The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring Global compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- This position will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the HR governance and compliance framework ensuring adherence to legal regulations, internal policies, and best practices.
- The role involves managing risks, ensuring ethical conduct, and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency within the HR Function and the entire Organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement and maintain HR governance strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with Global legal and regulatory requirements/regulations.
- Lead the design and conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company's HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement governance best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to HR Team and management, on governance-related matters, compliance, risk management objectives, etc.
- Monitor and analyze HR data and metrics to identify potential governance issues and recommend Global corrective or preventive actions.
- Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations worldwide, and update governance frameworks accordingly.
