Senior NPD Technologist

Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Development:

• Lead the development of new products, from ideation through to commercialization.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new product opportunities.
• Create and manage product development timelines to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

• Develop and refine recipes, ensuring they meet nutritional, sensory, and cost requirements.
• Conduct kitchen trials and pilot plant trials to test new formulations and processes.
• Ensure all products comply with regulatory and company standards.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management.

• Provide technical support to production teams during product launches.
• Troubleshoot issues related to product formulation, processing, and packaging.
• Work with suppliers to source new ingredients and materials.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
• Mentor and support junior NPD technologists and other team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of food science, ingredient functionality, and food processing techniques.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and product development software.

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
