Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 06/01/2023Support the development of network topology, optimization of network functioning and design and implementation of network solutions whilst ensuring network security.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic PlanningMaintain awareness of the strategy planning process.Maintain knowledge of new and existing KPI requirements as an individual employee.Achieve the goals/objectives of the function/functional tower.FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and implement LAN and WAN based on the latest technologies and security standards.Document all network hardware, software and communication links across the company and its entities.Support the configuration of network services internally and those integrated with Internet-based services.Assist with the administration of network systems and servers to ensure availability of services to authorized users.Install and configure networks across the company and its entities.Support the company with IP Telephony related implementations and support.Manage the group buildings with wireless coverage and replace faulty access points.Ensure the accurate implementation of patch management using automation tool sets.Resolve any problems that arise with computer networks and systems.Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, latency, etc.) and highlight issues.Support the management of network/server services and documentation.Inspect communications room status (access control, lighting, cleanliness, UPS, temperature sensor, earthing, cooling, etc.).Maintain network security devices - Firewall/VPN gateway/Email gateway/Network access control.RequirementsBachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.UAE nationals: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT Networks or related work experience.
