We are looking to hire a Guest Room Attendant to join our dynamic Housekeeping Team. We seek someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many; we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance. Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)

  1. Clean guestrooms as assigned by management and in accordance with hotel standards.
  2. Inspect all rooms (vacant or occupied) checking standard of cleanliness, missing guest amenities and/or supplies.
  3. Provide genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area. Promote hotel services and products.
  4. Anticipate guest needs and take ownership of guest concerns and requests; act decisively to ensure guest satisfaction. Offer a special service touch when an opportunity is presented.
  5. Be proficient in the safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery; report defects and accidents to management immediately.
  6. Immediately report and hand into Housekeeping Office any property or guest keys found in ‘check out’ rooms.
  7. Keep linen rooms tidy, correctly stocked, and closed when not in use. Ensure working equipment is always clean, tidy, and in good working order.
  8. Report to the manager the rooms that do not require service or which have Privacy signs in assigned area.
  9. Report to managers any blankets, bedspreads, valances, etc. that need changing.
  10. Report any damages/repairs/maintenance inserted in HotSOS.
  11. Complete deep cleaning of rooms as allocated by managers.
  12. Report to your managers anything or anyone suspicious and a Health and Safety hazard.
  13. Carry out any other cleaning duties as specified by your manager.
  14. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and hotel employees.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
  1. High School education or equivalent experience.
  2. Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in Housekeeping.
  3. High level of attention to detail.
  4. Knowledge and ability to operate cleaning equipment.
  5. Ability to understand and work with knowledge of English.
  6. Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
