We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality of Earnings Analyst and Finance Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of our financial data and reporting. The position involves conducting in-depth analyses of our company's financial performance, identifying areas of improvement, and providing strategic insights to support key decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in financial analysis, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:Quality of Earnings Analysis:Perform comprehensive reviews of financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to assess the quality and accuracy of reported earnings.

Analyze revenue recognition practices, expense accruals, and other accounting methods to identify potential adjustments or discrepancies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including auditors and external advisors, to validate financial data and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgeted and forecasted figures, highlighting key drivers and areas for improvement.

Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting:Collaborate with other department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts that align with company objectives.

Monitor budget performance throughout the year, providing regular updates and insights to help maintain financial discipline and achieve targets.

Internal Controls and Compliance:Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Implement best practices in financial reporting and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Cash Flow Management:Monitor and analyze cash flow activities, including working capital, capital expenditures, and liquidity management.

Identify opportunities to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risks.

Financial Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Participate in the implementation of financial software and tools to streamline processes and reporting capabilities where needed.

Qualifications:CA/ACCA/ACMA qualification is preferred

Proven experience as a Quality of Earnings Analyst, Financial Controller, or similar role with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and financial analysis techniques.

Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting methods.

Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
