Practice Director (Innovation Solutions Team), Greater China - IC Client Description: Regional IT services and solutions provider. Job Description:

1. Incubate and oversee the growing of embedded engineering as part of product engineering in Product R&D, by envisaging product trends and market demand from emerging technology and tender requirements.
2. Create business models for specific products, and partnerships with suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, and channels, in preparation for product development, from scratch to mass production and go to market.
3. Mainly focused on embedded software and hardware.
4. Manage product BOM and ECN, and quality assure incoming components and outgoing products, presale, architect, and solution based on the Group's homegrown embedded systems.
5. Build a development team consisting of hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical engineers capable of innovating on embedded systems for tenders or futuristic products.
6. Result: formation of product engineering team.
7. Envisage product trends and market demand from emerging technology, government feedback, and tender requirements.
8. Form partnerships with key component suppliers and manufacturers.
9. Interchange product concepts with internal and external customers, demonstrate feasibility, and influence tender specifications.
10. Drive product development from design to manufacture.
11. Manage product data in a systematic way.
12. Form a testing and QA team to qualify key components and developed products.

1. Degree or Master of Engineering or above.
2. Experience leading a team to develop embedded system products, hardware, and software, from scratch to mass production of more than 1000 units.
3. 15+ years’ experience in OEM/ODM/EMS manufacturing or leading brand companies.
4. 5+ years’ experience in video/audio related product development.
5. Manage a team of 20+ people for more than 10 years.
6. Convert customer pain points into market/product requirements, and source cost-effective key components and partners for solution realization.
7. Architect an embedded system per specification.
8. Identify ID designers and key components for embedded systems.
9. Facilitate the development of circuits, firmware, software applications, and mechanical designs. Test, trial, revise, and mass produce.
10. Deliver end products by partnering with OEM manufacturers, software design houses, and AI companies.
11. Product data management, from design to manufacture.
12. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin. Strong customer-facing and leadership skills.
