They are looking for an energetic and motivated individual with around 4 years of management experience, particularly in the medical field.Position Overview:The ideal candidate will ensure that all office functions are performed efficiently and in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality patient care and support. They will oversee patient flow and the daily operations of the office and team. This role requires comprehensive knowledge and experience in medical office management. The role will also require identification of gaps in processes and creating additional efficiencies to enhance team and patient flows. The ideal candidate will collaborate directly with senior operations personnel and virtual medical assistants.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and revise policies and procedures to ensure adherence to patient care expectations and efficient workflow
Supervise staff and manage daily office operations
Establish staff schedules, allocate resources, and ensure effective patient care
Train and rotate office staff through various duties to maintain a well-rounded team
Evaluate staff performance and conduct weekly team meetings to discuss challenges, updates, tasks, and workflow
Manage and audit patient records, ensuring cleanliness and accuracy in EMR/EHR systems
Oversee patient documentation, co-pays, and balances
Manage the master patient schedule and calendar
Monitor and respond to emails, phone calls, and faxes
Recommend and review strategies for improvement and growth
Become proficient in products and systems used by the team (training will be provided), including Google/G-Suite, EMR/EHR, phone systems, and insurance portalsQualifications:Customer-focused with a strong understanding of patient needs and satisfaction
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient in English
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to increasing patient satisfaction
Experience in complex problem-solving in both individual and group settings
Technical skills, including knowledge of medical terminology
Strong phone etiquette and data management skills
Experience in delegating and supervising office tasks
Clerical training and experience
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels of medical knowledge, both written and verbal
High emotional intelligence and understanding of healthcare organization challenges
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills
