Job DescriptionIdentify and diagnose issues and problems. Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions. Support problem identification, advise users on appropriate course of action. Monitor issues from start to resolution. Diagnose and resolve any hardware, software, or connectivity problem with minimum delay.
Provide basic training to end-users on the use of standard systems and applications. Draft end-user and/or technical documentation. Escalate problems/tasks to the appropriate parties in accordance with established procedures. Detect problem patterns and recommend solutions.
Install, exchange and repair desktops; provide assistance during major projects related to the infrastructure deployment; perform tasks related to service needs, including equipment replacement, installation/de-installation, software installation, LAN connections, returns to stock, site surveys, etc.
Maintain, upgrade or enhance existing backup/restore support infrastructure; assist in maintaining the documentation, procurement, and invoice processing. Maintain backup and restore systems pertinent to operations and system administration.
Age:Ideally 22-27 years
Skills"Hands-on" experience with technical knowledge of hardware and software of information technology infrastructure, switches, routers, servers, workstations, desktop PCs, and peripherals.
Good familiarity with TCP/IP and OS environments like Windows and Linux.
Hands-on experience in implementation, administration, and maintenance of a network infrastructure is required.
Experience with Microsoft Platform OS, software, and application. Create and manage daily service desk tickets/tasks.
Good communication (spoken and written) skills, including the ability to explain and present technical information; effectively train/advise users on networking issues.
Familiarity with best practices in network operations. Experience in IT procurement and inventory management will be a plus. Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
