Job Type: Full-time Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. In 2017, Malaysia contributed sales of RM 615 million (127 million euro) and employed more than 2,800 associates.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with customers on orders fulfillment related topics. Ensure production plan meets customers’ demands and achieving the targeted service level.
• Track and analyze customer’s demand trend and forecast accuracy.
• Formulate strategies in supply chain related field in align with latest business requirements.
• Control inventory in accordance with business requirements.
• Ensure accurate MRP related data are being maintained in planning system.
• Track and report daily planned vs actual output.
• Ensure the material availability and sufficient to support production requirements within value stream.
• Work with suppliers, purchasing and other relevant departments and communicate any supply related problems which may impact business operations.
• Work with logistic departments to prioritize urgent shipments.
• Work closely with other functions and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.
• Support and prepare management report and presentation as and when necessary.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline with minimum 3 years of leadership experience in supply chain field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong supply chain analytic knowledge (preparing scenarios, simulations).
• Ability to solve supply chain related issues with minimum supervision.
• Forward looking and vigilant against forecast trends (mid-/long term planning).
• Attention to detail, result oriented, motivated.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business partners is essential.
• Be flexible to take on ad-hoc assignments or projects as necessary.
• Understands implications and consequences of own actions.
