Internship: Regulatory Scientist

Period of Internship: To start as soon as possible - until end of July 2025Oro Agri, a member of the Rovensa Group, manufactures and markets environmentally friendly crop protection products. An excellent entry-level opportunity is available in the regulatory department for a recent graduate to obtain industry experience.Duties:Assisting with planning, executing, and monitoring of regulatory dossier submissions and mutual recognition submissions within Sub-Saharan countriesAssist with coordinating importing permits required for trial samples for all approved projectsAssist in ensuring that applications and submission processes meet internal Rovensa Next standard and crop protection regulatory legislations within designated countriesParticipate in the regulatory agency review process of the dossiersEnsure that the labels meet the local regulation for each country within Sub-Saharan countriesEnsure all the regulatory folders are kept updated and correspondence from the authorities is filed awayAssist with supporting the commercial team with updated safety data sheets and labels, by collaborating with global safety and the labelling teamsCollaborate with other country regulatory specialists to ensure team goals are achievedRequirements:BSc Hons degree in a scientific discipline (minimum), but preferably an MSc degreePrevious experience in handling trial reports and dataAbility to write and review scientific reportsGood communication and organisational skillsGood analytical and data consolidation skillsUnderstanding of crop protection industryA member of SACNASP (South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions) or willingness to enrolGood command of English (ability to communicate in other languages will be beneficial)Good computer skills (MS Office; statistical data programmes)A market-related remuneration package will be negotiated based on experience.
