Group Risk Manager

Our client, a Funeral Assurance Group based in Durban is currently in search of a Group Risk Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the establishment and implementation of a risk and compliance framework for the Group to effectively manage all risk exposures that pose and internal/external threat to the Group of Companies and ensure compliance to internal processes and policies, applicable laws and regulations, across the organization. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Risk and Compliance related fieldHigh levels of computer literacy Experience and Knowledge required:Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in managing risk and compliance functions in a corporate environment and seven (7) years of which havebeen at Management LevelKnowledge of Corporate Regulatory EnvironmentBusiness Continuity ManagementRegulatory and Legal FrameworksRisk Management and Compliance Policies, Strategies and ProceduresFraud prevention strategies and their implementationProven experience in strategy and Business DevelopmentExperience in the Insurance/ Funeral Assurance industryA valid Driver's license and willingness to travel for business purposes. Skills and Competencies required:Risk Analysis & Reporting skillsStrategic SkillsProject Management and Planning SkillsStakeholder Relations SkillsCoaching and Mentorship SkillsPeople Management Skills
