Sales Accountant

The most exciting role of Sales Accountant exist within a well known Engineering Organisation in the East Rand, Gauteng - Johannesburg South Africa. Key attributes: Maintaining an organization's key accounting records, known as ledgers. Day-to-day activities include recording transactions such as income and outgoings and posting them to various accounts. Responsible for compiling and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations. Prepares sales forecasts and collects and analyses data to evaluate current sales growth. They're also responsible that sales forecasts are up to date and able to report thereof. Month-end closure for allocated sections Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation preparation for allocated sections Ensure month-end is complete by the necessary deadline per section. Sales Reporting & Forecasting Sales Provisions Departmental Sales Forecasting Sales Order Intake Reporting Sales Budgeting Intercompany Invoicing Checking Sales Invoicing accuracy Reporting on Sales Credit Notes Sales Reconciliations General Sales Reporting Education and experience Matric / Grade 12 Professional Accountant (Membership) or qualification level 3 to 5 years working experience in a similar role or Completed articles (preferable)​​​​​​Advanced Excel - non negotiable.
